What I meant is that the bidding is like eBay. Also, like eBay, there can be a bidding frenzy...easily recognized, of course.
All of my purchasing transactions have been good.

I've bought and sold a lot of reloading supplies and ammo on GB. All great transactions.

I made two spoon purchases on GB...One was awesome, and better than described. The other was a horrible experience. I would not buy a spoon on GB from any seller who did not have over 50 sell-side transactions with 100% positive feedback.

As in most things, buyer beware. Gunbroker does nothing to police their site, allowing dishonest sellers to retain accounts and even use multiple accounts. I have been burned, I know others who have been burned, and Gunbroker did nothing in response. Find an honest guy there, and yes, it goes great. Find a dishonest guy, and it's between you and him. Gunbroker neither can, nor will, do anything at all.

Yeah, i was going to ask there for advice but they are rather intimidating.

"Hi! I'm a metrosexual bicycle-riding leg-shaving gourmand from Portland and I want to know if a pre-ban Belgian FAL will go with my skinny jeans. Be gentle."

Doesn't bear thinking about.

Almost burned once. Other transactions were okay. GB usually ships faster then impact, and other vendors.
