Fourth fire in as many years.....
Well, we've got another major fire in the crest again. It's the fifth fire in as many years. We're waiting for the evacuation orders any moment now. The air quality in the SF Valley is full on un-healthy. You'd think that one would get accustomed to this crap but it doesn't get easy or routine.
I woke this morning to a blanket of ash on everything,  Interesting side note. Somethings been walking on my hood.

Where is it exactly off the Crest, Kevin? I was going to go our for my typical Sat. morning bike ride. Got near Pasadena on the way up to Descanso Garden, decided to go home. Can't be breathing all that stuff. You guys all right? You must be right off Big T

Started yesterday close to the 5 and the 14 working it's way towards Big Tujunga Canyon as far as I can tell.

 Surreal. Looks like it's an overcast, ready-to-rain day. Red sun. And then blue sky off in the distance. Ash here throughout the SFV, but I was down in LB today at the Aquarium and it was beautiful.

Thanks! But I think we're cool. Trying to get in contact with my Son who works at the Disney Golden Oak Ranch on Placerita Canyon Road which is now closed, he was supposed to work tonight. The employees there DO NOT do firefighting.
