It must be a fire risk. Can't say I would recommend that one.

Sigh...guess you're right. Mustangs can't be made to play with Porsches in the twisties...

These track day videos prove nothing. You have wildly varying levels of car prep and driver skill in play. Its like saying a Mustang smoked a Veyron on the freeway doing a roll-on, so the Mustang must be a faster car. More than likely, the Veyron owner is laughing at the guy in the Mustang, who is always trying to prove something when nobody actually cares.

Proves to me that with enough time and money, any car can be made to perform well.

There's a reason I selected a Bullitt model. When I took a test drive, the salesman was pushing me to buy a red striped and spoilered GT they had. I told him if they couldn't find a Bullitt on dealer trade I wasn't going to buy a Mustang.

I agree, there is no accounting for some tastes.

How about a nice striped, spoilered and gaudy GT3? Wow...check out the negative camber on this one!

I'm going to do this at my next show with the 996.
It's a bit childish but I need a laugh.

The Cayman vid was at the Mitty in 2010.
The Mustang was custom built by a guy out of Atlanta. There's another vid here. Not mine - I was drinking at turn 5.
