I believe he is China this week. Let's see what he does there with respect to canola oil.

The press will maybe be interested if he takes off his shirt and oils up....

So far no proof, no pudding...

I remember reading in McLeans an interview with Justin Trudeau (about 2-3 years ago) in which he denied being interested in the Party Leadership cause he (and I quote) did not have the deep mental capacity needed for the job, like his Dad had.

That's real leadership material there. No doubt he would still be the PM if his last name was Smith.

It's guess it's not easy growing up wealthy and privileged.

The fact he can be elected, or even considered electable, points to the dearth of political leadership in Canada.

If you want to be honest he dropped out to enter politics and moving from one masters program to another is common place. He was a public school substitute drama teacher then taught math and french at the private school. Getting your foot in the door for teaching jobs hasn't been easy for a long time now.
Besides at the time he had no interest in following in his father's footsteps. He was in a sense drafted by the liberal party and public.

Seeing as most politicians are lawyers, I for one am happy he's not one.
Harper dropped out of university 1st time around.
Most of his election spending promises were based on the then income of of oil revenues, Harper would have been in the exact same boat keeping his word.

Payroll scandal - no action, this is an enormous problem, all they do is say 'we have it solved', then it's not.
Phoenix payroll was from the previous government.

Yes, it was selected by the Conservatives. Now it's his problem. He needs to solve it. To date he has not.

He doesn't need to solve it. But the government certainly does. The whole "solve this problem" is much more difficult given that much of the expertise around this issue was lost through the previous governments war on the public service.
