My perfect vintage modified BMW is For Sale

I love this one. Since I have a couple of kids it's perfect for me.
Exterior and interior look old but well preserved, and under the skin it has many M3 parts including an engine from an e36.

I sw it on CL a couple of weeks ago and have been drooling after it since. Way over my boring-car-replacement budget, but otherwise I'd be happy to give up the practicality of a hatchback for the driving quality of an E28 like that. I have no idea what the market is like for a car like that; I wonder if he will get his asking price.

That's awesome. Best of both worlds build, and very nicely done.

That's a lot of cabbage for a Bronzit car. For a little less you could have a Ron Perry'd E28 and have some money left over to ship it out your way.

Very nice. I owned a base, beater version (with an auto) in Germany and drove it all over Europe. A great, sporty family sedan. Easy to drive park, etc.

Nothing wrong with a Euro spec E28. But if you're going to go through all that trouble, why not slip in an S52B32 M3 engine?

Okay, I just read the whole thing. Two engine swaps. The right way the second time.
