Looping the SE5a

A perfect fall day to go flying so my Dad and I went out and looped the SE5a, he is 86 and its been 60 years since he looped a plane, this was the first loop for me since I build the plane: No problems:

WOOHOO! Ballsy for you, your Dad, and the plane.
I was surprised that you didn't dive a little for a boost in airspeed.

Did you tighten the straps on your parachutes first? 😀

Cheers Richard

No chute pulling a loop? Is it uncomfortable to sit in that tight cockpit with those great big balls?

Very Cool

I'll bet your dad was thrilled, and you two will be talking about that loop forever.

Cool video too.

Awesome, I saw the pre-loop shallow dive to pick up speed.

The loop was quite a bit tighter than I imaged it would be.

Now try a 3G wing-over.
