Heck if I know. I just need a reliable phone that takes pics, texts, makes and receives calls. My current 5 keeps getting locked up after the IOS 9 download. It keeps blinking the Apple logo and running down the battery. I Tunes doesn't recognize it and none of the buttons function. So I can't do a reset.
10 day wait to see the Apple Store weenies....

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Just yesterday I purchased our Helicopter mechanic's iPhone 6(he had it a day before going to the 6+). Anyway, I have AT&T currently and rocking an iPhone-5 and the iPhone-6 is a Verizon network phone. In my research, it has been deemed that if you want an iPhone that can cover both, the experts recommend the Verizon over the ATT iPhone due to it being able to handle both GSM & CDMA.
So, where I am going with all of this is that after getting a new micro SIM due to the 5's being outdated and unable to support the 6. Factory default reset, then an iTunes backup on the 5 and then a restore to the 6, things are going swimmingly..... No issues with running cross-network phones. The Verizon came unlocked so that was a bonus. Good luck JB with your search, you will be very pleased with the upgrade. Cheers

Short story, gotta phone. Apple sold me a refurbished 5C for $86 out the door with a warranty.
L O N G story, 2 weeks to get an Apple store appointment....got there, what a zoo. Battery in my old one seemed to have swelled and deformed the case. Not fixable or they weren't willing to do it. The replacement had a flat battery. They requested a verification code that was sent via SMS to my LG backup phone. In the lot, alarm fob no worky....crap left the lights on. Got a good Samaritan to give me a jump. Had to bail to work....the drive charged the battery. My tool kit digital meter showed 13v on the battery. Left the phone on the car charger and it came to life after my three softball games. But wouldn't connect to the tower. Had to wait to plug into the WIFI at home. AT home, Verification code was invalid, called Verizon, no joy. Find my phone feature was turned on and they couldn't turn it off, this feature locks it out if the phone is lost and someone is trying to change service. Icloud asked for the verification code for sign in, no good. Apple phone support, 45 minute hold and they couldn't send a new code.....finally found a way to generate a new request for a new code on the sign in screen, wasn't obvious.....got in and turned off the "find" app. 2 hours.... Back to Verizon, 30 minute hold. Still locked, back to Apple, 45 minutes....find out the sim card is locked and junk, has to be replaced. Verizon closed, 7am open. 20 minute hold....have to go to a Verizon store to swap cards....open at 10am. Got it all up and done.....no contacts, what PITA. Back home, on iCloud again. iTunes the iPhone interface freezes. Have to dump it, re-boot, same result. Uninstall and download again, update the download, 40 minutes. Get contacts installed inside of 3 seconds.....whhheeeee, I got a working brick.
