What do ya expect from an old man? Trade in the Porsche for a Crown Vic of course. Comfort and leg room...with an air pillow ride...

Thanks guys, I miss it, but I'd owned it 12 years, my back just doesn't want me to crawl under cars anymore.

Welcome aboard....I predict your bank account will grow unless you can replace buying Porsche parts with another vice. Maybe you need a Ferrari?

I spent two nights crawling around in the Cayman hardwiring the radar detector. I realized that i rather enjoy just looking at it and don't enjoy taking on major projects as much anymore. Maybe just a phase, or the winter blahs. The '84 911 is collecting dust. Maybe like shark teeth, I'll rotate them and drive one at a time. Can't imagine being toothless though.

I was talking with someone earlier today about this...
I hate to admit this, but my '88 has been out of my garage only ONE time this year . I've spent so many hours workng on it, that I could never replace it, so it just sits....for now. My priorities have changed, the roads I used to enjoy are congested and not much fun, any time, any day...sold my HD earlier this year too. Like an unfired spoon that saddens me...I keep it, planning to relocate to my rural property in a few years, so maybe the grins will return some day .I never thought I would ever consider selling it...but the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times....the $ are irrelavent to me, but I have an attachment to that car like no other I've ever had. She deserves to be driven... But she just sits these daze

. She's never seen a mechanic in 15 years but needs nothing, that's not my problem....I just don't drive her anymore....wouldn't drive a new one either. Maybe my circumstances will change....'cause she's a hoot, and I don't want a newer one...
