Ummm, I am not sure what you mean by "on ear". I haven't opened the box.

I assume they are headphones and go over the ears. You could try Google and look them up.

Sorry, I thought it might clarify for those looking at them. They have over the ear like the old style headphones which fit like shooting muffs, on ear which is like using the old style but with too small cups that have to sit on your ears instead of over them.

Of course, everyone interested could google them as well. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Back and side of the unopened box.....looks like a set of earphones. I'm not an audiophile, so......any other information I just don't have. It's not an empty box as it has some weight to it.

Not earphones, headphones. Over ear, as stated. My personal opinion is that Beats are more about style than function. OTOH, free is a great price. I'd use them probably if they were free. Especially useful when travelling or on the road.

And those look to be wireless, possibly with a wire audio jack as backup.

My favorite headphones are my V-Modas that I bought for the video camera. I thought they'd be my cheapo set to bang around with when recording. But they are nice enough to listen with, and sound as good as my Sennheiser set.
