What a funny group we are. If one of us falls on hard times, gets sick, has family problems; there is no end to the sympathy expressed, prayers sent, even money if it is needed. But sometimes we express some of our most personal stories or experiences, and in addition to thanks for sharing, there are chuckles and inappropriate comments or worse- harsh personal criticisms.

I for one really appreciate wdfifteen's posts- most especially the more personal ones. In fact, I like hearing from all of my brothers and sisters here. It is indeed a strange place.

I hate to see personal attacks on this forum. Its like a family to me and to see stuff like that going on is no bueno. I have been known to attack people who post the same stuff over and over, as if they can't remember that they posted the same crap yesterday, and people who post drunk. I feel bad, but it is what it is. I enjoy 99% of the posts here.

Thick skin is a requirement for PARF, not so much here. But in either case, its best to expect the unexpected and consider that as part of the charm here. It beats getting your feelings hurt over the words of some guy using a fake name.
