Yes they are. They especially look good in the cut out foam. My two favorite tools from the kit.

That kit may get a test. I've got some hail to pop on the DD, and a company gift card I won a few days back!

It doesn't dry it cools. It's hot glue. It will take a little testing and each glue strength requires a different heat and cool time but it can be pulled generally within a few minutes. spray a little alcohol on the glue tab after the pull and it will release from the panel and or the tab.

Just bought that glue pull kit and a tap down punch. $44 delivered with Prime. God I love Amazon, and not just because I work there!

When I have time, I'll report back on my progress on the hail damage on my DD. This is something I've always wanted to play with, and the last time I looked, the tools were kinda pricey.

I may pick up a line board too. Will try to improvise first though.

it does work.
getting the glue off can be a pain and getting the glue to stick was a pain at first.
let the tabs soak like it says
use fresh alcohol. mine was old and I was spending 10-15 minutes getting the glue off. fresh made it better.
be very very careful. pulling the dent too much is very easy.
I practiced on my BMW. wife hit it so its going to body shop anyway. first 2 I pulled too much. also may have used too big a tab.
the thing that does suck is you have to pull a little bit then remove it and then try to gauge how much pressure you can put on it to pull it.
I started working on the BIG dent. I have a slide hammer I was able to make work and I got the door dent out so it does not look as bad.

on the 930
I pulled a very small dent in the front hood, cant see it anymore
I pulled a small one on the side where a screwdriver flew up and hit the car when my daughter ran over it. cant see that one either.
started on the rear deck lid. BTW, anyone EVER seen a deck lid that did not have pressure dents from people that do not know how to close them?
got one or 2 out but pulled another too much and/or used too big a tab. BTW, they look worse if you pull them too much. then plastic punches came in handy. did not think they would.

this thing takes skill and a LOT of patients. if your day is starting off bad do it another day.

some cars and dents are easier than others, the main one I wanted to get out on the 930 was a small ding on the top of the fender, of course I can see when driving. pulled on it 7-8 times at least. it did not touch it at all. I decided to leave it for now. others come out easy.
watch the metal from a low angle to see how it moves.

the info I found on the glue sticks said colors where for temperature, another place said for makes of cars.

it does get frustrating when the tab wont stick and then you cant get the glue off.

PATIENTS AND A LITTLE AT A TIME!!!!! use tabs smaller than the dent.

getting the glue off the car is turning into a real pain. probably spent 45min to an hr trying to get 4 spots off. ended up heating it back up with a hot air gun. thought that was a mistake as it left a thin film of glue on that I did not think I was going to get off. rubbing it with a rag soaked in alcohol finally go tot it off.

I might have to use one of those tools on the fender dent. that's really the only one on the 930.


the big dents on the BMW just popped out pretty much, still have some bad spots where it was creased but it looks much better. just practicing as I will never get this one right.


tried to pull out a dent about the size of a BB. got it about half way out. now I cant get the tab to stick to the glue.

Do you think you have cheap glue?
Sort of like crappy solder or welding wire?
