Worst Drivers Moves

Such a pet peeve that I had to share what our top 5 most dangerous or least courteous actions are.

I had a driving across multiple lanes from the middle lanes distracted driver a few days ago.

I ended up using an opportunity when they were to to the right splitting two lanes, of passing them on the left, getting in front, and gradually slowing them down. The car likely had an adaptive cruise control that maintained a set distance. Eventually the driver noticed they were going half speed, and got into the right hand lane, and I took off. At least in the right hand lane when they weave its shoulder and middle lane.

Of course, another time the driver was actually drunk. I found out how well the N.C. Highway Patrol responds to that(not), I found out how well the Charlotte PD responds to that(Not). Fortunately, when the guy finally took an exit, he exited into a small town PD of Kings Mountain, and was promptly taken away in hand cuffs.

I wish I had onboard video of that guy, he literally needed 30ft of road width to keep moving, perhaps more. 80MPH average speed when I look at my 911 calls and exit #'s.

I also found out an eighteen wheeler avoiding a hit drifting partly side ways with locked up brakes makes more tire smoke than a NASCAR burn out.

It doesn't take texting or looking at electronic devices to be a distracted driver. The way people act when I lift off for a red light ahead, they definitely are not paying enough attention.

In Oregon, his idea of merging could get him ticketed. Here, the merging driver is expected to yield.

it always amazes me when people fly thru a parking lot, blow there horn at someone trying to back out and cant see because of large cars next to them and instead of stopping they blow their horn and keep going and probably give you the finger.
a girl did that to me one day at a mcdonalds. I could see no one was coming and as I backed out she came flying in the parking lot off the main road, blows her horn and I could see here mouthing something. even though I was still checking behind me, she was going so fast she was right on me before I new it.

also people that weave in and out of HEAVY traffic like they are actually going to get someone faster, those are the ones you just have to mess with.

we were in Jacksonville on I95. no one was going any where fast. this guy in a van kept swapping lanes behind me when one side would get just a LITTLE more ahead of the other.
oh yea baby, I would move up to the front bumper of the car next to me and he would get behind me, then I would drop back to the rear bumper and he would get behind the other guy. repeat and you have some good entertainment while going nowhere fast in traffic.

I couldn't get through the video. Two minutes of that guy was too much for me.
Two things really tick me off. Idiot drivers who don't know what they're doing and idiots with GoPros who don't know what they're doing. This guy checks all the boxes.

Most people don't know that the vehicle backing out HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY. Reason being, their vision is limited.

I didn't initially notice it was Jerry again, no reference to an M5, so I clicked. I didn't finish the video. Good grief, so boring.

He is right distracted driving is dangerous...
As he distracts himself while driving to host a "don't drive while distracted" video.
Got it, its not ok to text and drive.
But it's ok to host you tube videos while driving?
Clearly a "do as I say not as I do" kinda guy.

Much safer to back into a parking space than back out.

Around here if you pull forward enough to back in, the asswipe behind you will dive into it.

My current pet peeve is 4 way stop signs, where folks will stop a full car length away from the stop, so they technically stop first, and are "first" to go... I almost wish for roundabouts or traffic lights.

If they stop short, they are supposed to stop again at the line.

I cannot for the life of me, get my head around or understand the rationale for this.
That's just one of about a dozen $chitt-head moves I see all too frequently.

Cheers

Ah but you miss the point, they stop short on purpose to establish their claim, and proceed like they won... Those are the days I wish it was "the purge" and I was driving a hummer.... ;-) this system is broken in california anyway...

They stop short, I pull in front of them briskly. If they are on the phone, I take their turn at the 4 way stop. Had a woman stop short a few weeks ago. I refused to yield and she went road rage on me. I followed her to the grocery store where she was going, blocked her in and asked her what she was thinking. Her response, "creepy, you followed me, you are creepy." I suggested she should call the Sheriff's Department or the CHP and we could discuss it with them. I also advised her that she should consider changing her ways. Her telling me I am creepy is all well and good. Acting like an idiot and then letting someone follow you and block you in is not a good plan for long term survival. One day, she will do that to someone who is not as nice as me, and she will get her name in the paper.

I can pretty well guarantee that if we are at a 4 way intersection, and you T bone me, the CHP will find you at fault.
