The irony is strong here....
A fine Christian woman searching for similar man....so she breaks all sorts of vows, Commandments, abandons her "heathen" husband and kids.... Nope, I ain't buying into her bs story :( Mentally, she was done with you imo....WAY before she actually left and hooked up with an old flame. Many woman seem to change radically after the kids are grown, menapause REALLY changes a few, and many don't like wrinkles and what time does to us all. Trying to recapture youth....I dunno??? Be well Grog....you and your kids will be just fine :) |
It's over as of 7/31/18. Took 2 years & 3 months. The judge saw her for what she is and I came out ok. I treated myself with 2 divorce presents.

i've often wondered why divorce isn't presented in a contract court instead of a family court. you are often married before the ceremony |
. Took 2 years & 3 months.
Wow. Congratulations. |
Congrats, glad you didn't get totally screwed. Nice gifts to yourself. You earned 'em.
How are the kids doing? We don't give a damn how the ex is doing, so don't bother. ;) |

It's funny, I was thinking you should get a Raptor.
Enjoy it in good health. |
Nice! Congrats.

2 examples of the current excellence in automotive manufacturing. Well played. Got all the bases covered for transport.

Glad it turned out for you. Nice choices. While I prefer the Super duty vehicles for work, the Raptor is really nice. I may consider a used one at some point.

Kids are ok. Daughter has a new job, full time and more per hour. Son got laid off. My son still doesn't talk to her.
After the trial I felt like the world was lifted off of me, what a difference. She didn't do one thing to find a job in 2 years. She has a bachelors degree. During her lawyers closing arguments, her lawyer said she can never expect to make more than minimum wage while I would be living the good life. The judge stopped her lawyer and went off about how someone with a bachelors degree should make way more than that. The judge went on to ripped her a new one. They came into the trail asking for more alimony then I was currently paying and 65% of all assets. It was a big money grab. I'm really glad it failed. We could not agree on a value for the house since it is in need of many repairs. Currently, you could not get a conventional loan for the house, only a rehab or construction loan. So I will work on the house to get it to conventional loan status. We will split the coast of any hired help and all materials, my labor is free. Then sell it. I don't want it, it's too big for me and too many memories here. how about this one? Sail on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9feYus8XmU |

Happy that you made it to the other side, brother.
1.5 years later, how do you feel about the whole thing? Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance? Do you have any motivation to meet someone new yet? |
