Accused of Sexual Harassment

Does anyone know a really good lawyer for someone accused of sexual harassment?

All I did was talk to a female co-worder about almost losing my foot and the ordeal I went thru saving it. Mentioned that they did several skin grafts and I had to sing a permission slip because the manufactured skin was made from processed foreskin.

The company is filing a disciplinary action, 5 days without pay, counselling, and it is going on my permanent record so if anything similar happens I will be terminated.

I need to talk to a good lawyer.

self inflicted wound............. you cannot cure stupid.

Resign and stick it to the man.

On unrelated topic. Females are ruthless.

Sorry, but I can't imagine saying that to a co-worker, male or female. TMI.

Oh sure, she was all interested and wanted to hear more when I was talking about the powder stuff they put on the foot to grow back the 1/3 of the flesh and tendons back instead of just scaring over that Oprah had talked about on her show and called Pixy Dust.

That nail I stepped on ruined my life.

Unfortunately the laws are written in such a way that you are guilty until proven innocent.
But ... harassment usually requires a demonstrated pattern.
One single incident where you made a unadvised statement is easy to fight.
If you had said things several times that made her uncomfortable or she and she had asked you not to and you persisted, you would be serial screwed.
Is this the first and only incident cited in the accusation?

Lawyer up for no other reason than future documentation and protection.

I think maybe your at the wrong web site. Maybe google pedophile or foreskin or maybe even dick graph loses job

Sammy's got it right. You were discussing a medical procedure, and she was curious to learn more. This is no more "sexual harassment" than if you told her it was elbow skin.

I'm sorry I cannot help with a lawyer recommendation. Hopefully you can find a good one familiar with sexual harassment law. He or she will know how to handle this. It should be a slam dunk, in your favor.

Did you say it was your foreskin and you showed her the scar?

RKDinOKC 03-30-2017 05:49 PM

Didn't even show her my foot that is now missing a toe.

Nobody I know know's a layer with any experience in sexual harassment.

Guess will have to use Google.

Definitely want this NOT on my record at all.

So using the word foreskin in discussing a medical procedure with a female co-worker is sexual harassment? That seems utterly ridiculous to me.

I do know an attorney in Oklahoma. Will ask for a referral.

I was in a similar situation a looong time ago. In my case I had been in a conversation with a buddy and a woman overheard us. She complained that our conversation made her uncomfortable. The company told me that constituted harassment. But since she didn't walk away or ask us to stop and it was a first offense.....I was allowed to resign.....with 3 months pay in my pocket. I had a new job in 6 weeks.

Man that sucks!

I had a female report me one time back when I was in corporate sales...for hiking up my shorts in front of her. That was all. This was something I did all the time and something all guys do when they need to. Nothing nefarious. I just happened to be in her branch at the time picking up something I needed for a customer.

She happened to be a lesbian but I'm sure that had nothing to do with it.

I told my regional manager she was always the one who wanted to tell dirty jokes at our sales meetings. I'll never forget she told the one about a guy going into a whorehouse and (it was the one about the tattoo that spelled "Chattanooga" or something).

Anyway...nothing happened to me but ten years, award winning sales, zero black marks, and then this.....

Hope you get a lawyer and are able to get the boar re-righted, Richard.

Talk to a lawyer and say that you would like to sue the woman and the company because this sort of complaint will effect your future promotions, and future employment prospects. You are suing for future loss of income.

That will put them on the back foot and get them to give you a written apology.

25 years ago, an ex g/f went to work in the corporate world for United Airlines EXO in Chicago...she called me one evening and said, "You're so lucky to have the career that you do. I have to think about everything before I say it. It's extremely stressful."

Well, with the foreskin graft, it's not like you asked her for a foot massage, and you all of a sudden grew a new toe.

Glad that I wasn't having my morning coffee reading this or I would have needed a new keyboard....
