Elam makes many valid points in his discussions and as strong supporter of men's rights, I believe there is a necessary place for his voice in this world. The first video, particularly, resonates with me. In general, I distance myself from most women because I don't like them. Those whom I do like are dependable, honest, fair and apparently rather scarce. Funny...I've never had any problem finding them. Elam refers to this type of woman as unicorn but the he uses in one of those videos is a Pegasus... That did kind of make me snicker.
The thing about Elam is that his overlying mistrust and bitterness are plainly evident in his language, his speech, and his mannerisms. He is not just pro-male (which would be absolutely fine) but he come across as so anti-female, so absolutely disgusted by women, that I really struggle to listen to his messages with an open mind. angela

In reading threads here for a few years, I remember several where folks were venting over their mistreatment/abuse in divorce or relationships in general and thought they might enjoy/relate to them.

"You did it to yourself"... It took me about 2 years to realize this after my divorce.
It can be hard to listen to your life being told by someone you've never met but I'd suggest everybody watch all three videos. The last one was especially relevant to me. If she wont own her s**t then you have to be willing to let her leave... And help her pack. Thanks for posting.

Let's see..married 41 years to the same woman, 73 years old, with more than one medical issue. Wanna tell me why I should bother to watch these?

Three steps for dealing with women:
1. Slap 2. Slap 3. Slap Like that.

I watched the first vid and part of the next two and will finish watching those when I have more time. I'm always interested in getting people's views on relationships and find it somewhat fascinating.
I really do believe it's like a science all on it's own. Speaking of which.....I do believe that relationships are both a science and an art form. One of the things you can get into trouble with in discussing men and women dynamics is statements that seem to generalize. So anytime I comment, I always provide this disclaimer: There are exceptions. I know there are some very good people in this world who represent either sex. I'm also of the opinion that regardless of gender, every person has a different personality.....and thus different goals...different needs...and different viewpoints. One size does not fit all. I celebrate those who have found happiness in a relationship. It's not an easy task, for the most part. Respect and sacrifice seem to be important cornerstones. I'd like to see some videos from the distaff side in this thread discussing the same topics as those in Rick's opening post.

A three-fer. I am the King of Unicorns. Now, have I met, had a date, Driven Miss Daisy with the women Paul E. describes: Yes, yes I have. I just never assumed putting a little ranch dressing in Hidden Valley needed so much introspection and angst.

I listened to all three videos while working.
I put it in the context of any relationship, including business relationships. I'm pretty sure you would have few clients living up to your standards, same with women.

Nope. By the time you get old enough to know a few things, young people don't want to hear it...especially younger guys thinking with their little heads.
