Good for her. She should do well in life.
As an aside, I know three people that got full rides to very good schools because of scholastics and music. One was piano, one was violin and one was with the harp.

That is great news! I'll be waiting to see how it all shakes out.
My son is working hard at being a saxophonist. He's in band, jazz band, the music teacher's TA, jazz lessons, & a jazz improv class. He made his stage debut last weekend at a local jazz bar, got to play a couple songs with his improv teacher's band. He was cool as a cucumber & sounded great. We're not sure where this is all going. He just turned 14 & has been playing about 3 years. We are saving for college & he gets excellent grades. I have a coworker whose daughter (a violinist) graduated from an expensive private college a year ago & works at a music store. She had scholarship money, but still has a big debt. Our plan is to get him through college debt free & then retire. I don't think he realized how blessed he is until he started to help younger students as a TA. The sax came to him pretty easily. He played one year of percussion & asked for an alto sax toward the end of the school year. I got him a cheap China sax & he sounded pretty good from day one. Less than a year later, I got him a intermediate level tenor & the best local instructor. Last summer there were a couple of jazz camps, intermediate (improv), taught by his jazz teacher & beginner, taught by his future improv teacher. His jazz teacher told him wasn't quite ready for the intermediate class & that motivated him to do what it takes to get good enough (mostly scales). He worked hard & broke through a couple months ago. I hoped that once he was creating his own music, his motivation would pick up & it has.

For those interested here's a recent clip of the orchestra she auditioned for and got in to.
Her HS has 5 orchestras and this is the premier orchestra for the school. Mind you her current orchestra are no slouches either. This one's a notch better because every single kid is dedicated. Some of these kids, like my daughter are not even Sr's yet.

Does she still play piano? If so, was that a factor in college recruitment. My son is trying to pick up flute, his teacher said the first year is tough.

She's also got a pretty full plate. She's in 7 AP classes this year. I think lunch is her only non AP period. LOL. She goes in early 2-3 days out of the week to get in extra lab time and at least 3 days a week does not leave school till 5 or 5:30. The recruitment has been purely on her academic performance so far.
