Waiting for the first pitch of today. No predictions on my part. College baseball is more emotional than the bigs. Emotions are a factor. Anything can happen.

All that said, GO BEAVERS. We on the west coast get tired of hearing how dominant the SEC is...

Beavers now have their backs against the wall with the loss. Time to show what they're made of.

Beavers got SCREWED on that foul ball that was actually a fair call.....and later ump got a HBP wrong on a TCU batter.....terrible officiating...just awful!

Sure agree on the foul ball call. Had it been called right, we might still be in extra innings. Also agree on the HPB call. Maybe they were trying to do a "makeup"?

Thanks Baz. Already onward. Hell of a pool tournament going on in Portland, being live streamed. I'll be watching the stream tomorrow. Top players from all over the country...12 players left. So far, Shane Van Boening seems to be the top dog.

I seriously didn't care who won... I just wanted to see good baseball, but the plate umpire during the OSU-LSU game really needs a good talking to by someone in the NCAA officiating organization. The way he continually called strikes for pitches that rode the chalk on the batter's box was criminal.

I was beginning to think he just enjoyed doing his cute little karate punch strike movement... it seemed like he wanted to do it as often as possible.

I understand all the nuance and stuff the announcers have been talking about during the entire series, but the way this guy kept doing it and the calls were getting more and more atrocious was different.
