Probably close to a 100, but I still own my first one, that I got when I was 16! A 1959 Austin Healey 100-6 two seater. Right now we own 10 cars and trucks, with only two drivers in the house. 7 Mercedes Benz, the Healey and two cars that are ok for the winter time.

Quite a variety here. Make a heck of cars and coffee if we could get them all back and in one place.

Way, way over 100. Impossible to even remember all of them. I compulsively buy vehicles and have for 40+ years.
Once in a while, someone will say, "remember the xyz car you used to have?" "No." Then, with some extreme prodding, it will come back to me. I've forgotten cars I've owned in the last 5 years. I have a list in a notebook somewhere from about 1986 that filled an entire page. It was a memory exercise. Next to it was a list of every chick who really got to me at that time, it was also an entire page from elementary school through mid-20s.

My current count is 10 and I had to rack my brain to remember them all. One is a 60 y.o. Mercedes project sitting in the desert that I've never driven. Plus a couple bikes and one I just agreed to buy.
I have a hard time just remembering all Porsches or all 911s. Getting senile.

I can't remember all of my cars...not a great number, just a bad memory.
Motorcycles: 15 at one time while in CA. Sold all but 5...shipped them to Portland. Sold 4 up there...brought 1 to AZ. Now have 6 here...4 in the house and 2 in the garage. We're sickos.

I'm close - eight cars since 1985 and I still own four of them. If it's a good, quality car I get attached.... One of them now gone, an '89 Honda Prelude, I really wished I still owned.

Since 1979 there have been 7 cars and one motorcycle.....................and a hovercraft w/trailer.
If you take care of your stuff, you can keep it for a long time, even with Michigan's salted roads. Two of the cars were purchased new, my next vehicle might be a 40 year old one if I can get my shop skill levels up.
