Good price right now on Crocs CitiLane Flips (flip flops)

Looks like 4 selected colors on sale.....black, walnut, navy, and flame (I won't mention the pink..lol) I have been wearing this particular flip flop for a couple years now and it's my favourite for foot bed comfort. This model has a DOUBLE layer of Croslite foam so very "cushiony". I get the largest size they have...13. I have big feet anyway but love having plenty of space in front and behind my feet. Only $15/pair and free shipping with any order that is $24.99 or more. I bought 4 pair! Here's the link: CitiLane Flip | Flips | Crocs Official Site No affiliation..yada yada... Happy hunting!

I am never not doing enough in the yard to wear anything but fully toed shoes. I tried flip flops once many years ago, and hated every minute of it.

That's when I prefer sandals, unless it is something like mowing the lawn or weed-eating, when something much more protective is required.

I've heard lots and lots of good about Crocs. I can't bring myself to wear their clogs, but I'm going to give a pair of these a shot. At $15, it's not much to lose if I don't like them. I usually only wear flip flops when taking the dogs out or especially taking the dogs out when it's wet. They have a bunch of stuff that's on sale for 15, 20 and 25.

Flip flops were invented in 1965 by a French industrial designer, Philippe Philoppe. He tried to sell the idea to a shoe manufacture but they told him they would fail to sell. Told him, "Phillipe, these shoes of yours, they're going to flop." True story.

^ not really. Google the term "Zori". Having said that, I have always thought of them as women's shoes.

Get some nija footwear if you have to wear sandals. Or go old school Adidas: These are rockin' for futzing around the house or walking the poodle after dinner:

Hey I liked your story WDfifteen! Baz, I use to get bigger slippers for getting across hot sand beach situations without sinking into the hot sand, called them sandshoes. The tropical equivlant of snowshoes. Cheers Richard

I'd rather wear these (and I do) or something like this Quote:
But. being from Florida, I grew up with flip flops. I actually stopped wearing them years ago (switched to stuff like the sandals I posted). My wife has recently got me to get a pair of flip flops again. They serve a purpose, but they aren't my favorite.

The toes aren't all exactly the right length, some have a little space at the tip and some are more snug, but yeah, that's a heck of a toe, and might be hard to size appropriately. That toe must really be loving the current trend of more pointed shoes for men.

I got my crocs flip flops today. I like 'em as far as flip flops go. It was a good deal for $15.

Those Adidas Are great for water activity like washing your car or after you get out of the shower or swimming pool because those little bumps? drain the water off under your foot. You DO have to get used to them, takes about a day. My Olukai's are my dress sandal. Ha!
