If there is a slapping sound coming from my feet! It's from birkenstocks.

I got humiliated at ping pong by a guy wearing those. He called them his "slaps"

Hearing that it is "normal" to have to get used to them, I may give them another try. The concept of a "slide" is much more appealing than the "thong" idea for me if I am going to wear some kind of flip flop. I never really quite get used to the strap between the toe on normal flip flops, so if I am going to try to get used to something, I think I will try the bed of needles!!!! JA

I'm shocked, the Crocs flip flops that I bought back in 2017 finally had the toe strap break on the right foot. I don't wear them that much. I guess that was 4.5 years, which isn't bad for inexpensive flip-flops in the grand scheme of things. I need another pair. I don't wear them often, but I do wear them from time to time.
