She is a pretty dog indeed. I'm sorry she(and you) are going through this problem. I had a back injury in my 30yo unblemished prime that just about incapacitated me for years. Turned me into the ornery bastard I am today unfortunately. I feel her pain. Hope those edibles work out for the best.

13yo, blind, plus broken spine? Yikes. That's not training it's pure physical. Maybe confine her to a small room when you leave and lay down a taped grid of pads? open window blowing smells out. Put a blanket/bed/water on one side so she has a side for each? Don't know what to say man.
