That will be lessons for this weekend or next, depending on when we actually pick it up.

My college term starts Monday - working 30 hrs/week doing current job, plus teaching 2 classes to make my 40 hours, tehn teaching 2 classes at night for extra $$, then taking 3 classes (android dev, mongodb, and a business class)

I'd make sure she has some sort of sweat equity into it.
I've seen too many kids today 'given' cars and then just wreck 'em like they don't care.

I think that's down to her character and how the OP and his wife raised her, something I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on. I knew someone in high school who wrecked the first car he was given - he crashed it into a teacher's car, of all things. I was given a car when I graduated from high school and 24 years later I've still got it.

I'll be the first to agree with you on that Otter74. Only reason I said it was I've seen kids I thought were raised right do just that. Crash a brand new car they were given.
