Even better news. Grandma bumped our budget, we should be pickign up a loaded Nissan Altima 2012 for $10k OTD.

I'd make sure she has some sort of sweat equity into it.
I've seen too many kids today 'given' cars and then just wreck 'em like they don't care. Hope your mileage differs from that.

I think that's down to her character and how the OP and his wife raised her, something I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on. I knew someone in high school who wrecked the first car he was given - he crashed it into a teacher's car, of all things. I was given a car when I graduated from high school and 24 years later I've still got it.
