I had demo people showing up the next morning. Movers started at noon and ended at 2 AM. I tipped each of them $125.

I was at $100 a head last move. We had 6 guys and it took them a day including the 20 mile drive. They and I were happy with the results.

Wife found a great small company on one of the customer ranking sites. We used a two man crew from home to home. They were shockingly inexpensive. We packed, they moved everything. The took apart beds and stuff. We tipped them handsomely. So much they asked us to request for them by name when we would move from our temp apartment to our new home.

We buy a house' we called but they sent a new three man crew. Younger guys.

Btw, both moves involved my small gun safe. But it's a heavy mofo.

They moved everything in 4 hours w my help. Again. It was uncomfortable how cheap it was. We lined the guys up, and my wife tipped them the rest of our moving budget. Fair is fair. They kicked ass. Those guys asked us to ask for them as well too.

I tip because that job is brutal.
