Per the pics on Jalopnik, it's an MG TD.

Yep, it's a junkyard. And not even a very good one.

The only cars that remotely interest me are the BMW 2002, and the early Miata (made into a track day car).

He's got some good cars in there, the article was well featured and photographed for Jalopnik.
For us '80s car lovers, there are some gems in there. Hopefully the Michigan winter hasn't ruined them.

I did spy a Carrera or whale style 911 tail on the wall in one of the pics, I wonder if there is a 911 hidden there somewhere?

Yep, Mercury Capri FTW. It looks like a Mercedes SL hardtop made by nutless monkeys in Eastern Europe.

I have to pile on with the general consensus, that is not a car collection, it is a car junk yard. It looks like a great mosquito breeding ground and rust factory. The planet and that are of the planet will be better with that junk dealt with.

I'd gladly take a bug and a few others. I wonder about this place sometimes. What is the standard? How many cars can I have and not hoard? Who gives a chit?

I think that's "a" standard : The ability to store them in a way that they do not rot away.

Maybe this is just me but when I see this sort of hording I get a little worked up. Some cool cars that could find a good home and a longer life if the guy and others like him would actively engage in that direction. No idea if he tried to sell in the past but I'm thinking he may be one of the 'that one is worth a lot, I will get to it later' or as another poster said thinks full retail is what he should get if selling.
I'm just mad and maybe a little sad that some if not all of these cars will meet their end and they could have gone on to years more of excitement or use for someone else.

Wow! that may look like a lot of junk not worth saving for the average user of this site, but there are quite a few that are worth and will be worth a ton. True with improper storage they would rot on the ground but I was surprised to see so many with tires holding air, intact, no missing glass, (better looking than what I see driving on the road)... After seeing the video and hearing the prices it seems a lot more reasonable than the typical rust carcasses I see popping up on "the bay".
