Coinbase suspends trading

Crypto currencies are crashing.

Gee, why am I not surprised?

Why oh why do people fall for Ponzi schemes? It's not like they are a new thing.

A: because they pay off at a certain velocity. (just before they hit the wall at speed)

The issue lays in the way transactions are confirmed currently. It also takes mining power to confirm transactions. The network was overloaded. My last payout from a mining pool took nearly 16 hours.

That said- there are other exchanges. Additionally if you had a ton of money riding on it, you can pay a higher fee for direct and immediate confirmation.

That said - if you're in this with pure timing in mind - you better REALLY know what you're doing and have backup plans. I have a feeling a number of small speculators lost some real dough in the last few days. It went from almost $20k down to a low of $11k today. Then it looks like more bargain hunters drove it back up to 14/15.

The real issue with "the bubble" is that its sucking in people who have no business playing in the realm of 'high-finance. '

The lesson to be learned is that you shouldn't keep any money you're not willing to lose on an exchange. ..me personally - it gets turned into greenbacks. Stable currency is good currency.

The lesson to be learned is to never invest in something you don't understand. I've never seen or heard anything that gives me a full understanding of bitcoin.

Try reading this. You'll have to be well motivated to understand it.

This is interesting but again you need to understand Bitcoin.

Like I said in the other thread...

1s and 0s just represent the stability that backs them. I don't trust them one bit
