I understand, been towing since the 80's. I just don't want to use underrated equipment, which prompted this thread. Don't want to waste time chasing down this trailer if it isn't rated.
tl;dr - have a 10k trailer, sucky ramps, looking for 'inexpensive upgrade'......

The C.L. link below is the guy I bought my Load Trail from. His prices are extremely reasonable and if you gave him a call you might be able to get reasonable shipping. Check the price on the 10K he has listed. It's a standard ramp trailer buy you might give him a call and see if he has any old stock tilts available. I bought mine as a new 1 year old stock piece and got a smoking deal on it.

Not certain, but if you are right on the edge of overloading the axles can you subtract the tounge weight from your load? Example, 14k capacity trailer, 4000 lbs empty, 11000 lb load with 10k on axles and 1k on tounge?

Good price on a bumper pull. ^^
Deductive reasoning says yes, but i'm not sure. Example; My gooseneck claimed the 17.5k capacity, yet only had two 7,000lbs axles. 14k axle max. assuming 3,500lbs tongue weight...

Nice! Hope you like it. One word of advice after the winter we have had. If you're planning to load something, do it BEFORE it snows. Once the deck gets a bit of frost on it, it's almost impossible to get a machine up on it. Learned that one trying to load a Bobcat T650 and had to use a brush burner to melt the snow and frost off the deck in order to get the machine to climb the tilt.

Cab- 3 years later I'm bumping this thread to again thank you for your advice.
The tilt trailer was well worth the couple extra bucks.
