Mark, you are running the risk of upsetting the usual hate brigade, but thanks for posting the Leno bit. Love the article written for Hagerty...top notch writing there, despite it having been linked here before.

Paul - I risk the wrath when I tell people my 996 is far and above a better car than any other 911 I've owned! That new Bullitt Mustang looks to be an awesome car and I hope to get a chance to drive one..

With my '09 at 27,000 miles, it'll probably last me the rest of my driving days. Those may be fewer than I expected. Got a shot in my left eyeball yesterday for wet macular degeneration. Right eye still fine, so opthalmologist says I'm okay to drive..at least for now. These injections help in roughly 50% of cases, so keeping my hopes up. Sure screwed up my pool game, though.

For you Mustang Addicts:
https://www.recwatches.com/collections/p51 My father has a 2007 Mustang Shelby GTH, he used to race late 60's Mustangs in the early 70's he is a total Mustang fanatic. I purchased one of these P51 watches for him as a gift, he never takes it off. I picked up a 901 for myself, just because, I no longer own a Porsche but think the concept is cool. https://www.recwatches.com/collections/901 I have no affiliation with the company just thought I would share with some motor heads into Mustangs and Porsches.

Well, at first I was all "why me" about the diagnosis, but really..why not me? For sure there weren't any 25 year olds in the Retina clinic's waiting room. Very age related. After 74 trips around the sun, Caca happens.
Another reason for me not to think about buying a '19 Bullitt. Why buy a depreciating asset that I may not be able to use very long?
