You'd think with all the gasoline tanker trucks traveling and delivering between Bakersfield and LA they could drop the price a little.

Just filled up this morning at the "cheapo" Santa Clarita gas station. $4.49 for regular 87.

Don't worry your Equity portfolio increase should cover it handily.

With 87-octane being about $4.50/gal and 91-octane about $5/gal, I've been filling up at the local Costco more regularly now. It's about a 50-cent/gal difference, so even on a daily driver that's worth about $5. On one of the 911s, with the 21 gallon tanks, it can be almost a $10 difference!

I've been playing around a bit with E85 in my flex fuel F250 but man I can't stand watching the average mpg. I've calculated it out and even with the mpg drop I still come out ahead because it's about .50c per gallon less but still, seeing 9.8 mpg when I'm not towing anything isn't a nice feeling.

That place is one of the most expensive places in California aside from that little station in Big Sur.

Gas prices................

Two days ago here in South Georgia I bought regular (87 octane) gas for $2.98 per gallon! Yesterday at the same station it was down to $2.96 per gallon! Sure glad I don't live in California!

Diesel is about 5.40 now so I stopped driving the duramax. I try driving it once or twice monthly so now, its back in the Cayman as daily.

Costco in HNL is about $1 per gallon for regular. On Lanai, it is $6 a gallon for regular.

Well, as long as there are morons that are stupid enough to pay that place's price, it wlil keep going up. More power to him...

We have a Shell station here that is .40 cents a gal higher that the station literally next to it, yet it always has a line of carts at the pump...
