Front license plate had to go!! Original msrp,dealer purchase order, epa window sticker, receipt of cash payment and also have the original safety inspection by Datsun technician!

Car looks amazing! That is one well-preserved car. Congratulations! Take care of that rust as soon as possible.

This was always one of my favorite parts on my 240s, the little light that comes off and has a few feet of wiring as an extension cord.

I’d forgotten they mounted the AFM sideways. Most Japanese cars ended up putting them horizontal for better damping of the wiper arm getting more consistent fueling.

Looks pretty clean but I’d get an old garden sprayer and a gallon or two of fluid film and go to town spraying every crack and crevice.

That's a nice, original 280z...just leave it. Don't mess with it, not many original ones left that haven't been 'back dated', or messed with. Find a poorer example to mess with if you want to play.

My 240 ... still around after 35 years.






I built this convertible 240z about 18 years ago. Still love it!!
