Speaking of movies you can watch over and over again - Centennial by James Michener. I am now watching it for the third time and read the actual book once. A terrific story about the settlement of Colorado. It wasn't easy! 18 hour mini series from the 80's available on dvd.

Ran across this recently - seems relevant (a bit more orchestral arrangement - incredible vocals):

One Eyed Jacks...Marlon Brando.
I have my DirecTV set to record it every time it comes on. Probably watched it 20 times by now.

I like all the old westerns and one not mentioned, Quigley down under, two good performances in that one.

Honestly, there couldn't be a villain much better than Eli Wallach. He's one of my all time favs. Tuco is so weaselly and amoral but I always found myself rooting for him for some reason.

Eastwood only did 3 Spagetti westerns. Everything else was Holywood.
