94 octane gas in WA?
Please help in finding 94 octane gas in WA.
i am from Vancouver, BC. have a 3.0SC w/ JE Pistons 9.5 compression ratio on PMO carb. I am going to attend a track day in Pacific Raceway this July. very excited about it. the problem is that i so far haven't seen gas stations with 91 or higher octane in WA. My car normally runs on Chevron's 94 only. Had tried 91 and 92 but it was obvious that the engine didn't like lower octane gas. so, dear Pelicans in WA, please help. Which gas station offers 94 gas? thank you. |

The self serve pumps at Pacific Raceway have 100LL as well as unleaded 100 (I think). I didn't check the price last week but it should be $7-10 per gallon. I bought some one time when I didn't want to drive to Covington between runs, but our car really doesn't know what to do with anything better than 93. See you on the 31st.
Cheers, Jamil

There is a 76 station in Auburn at 15th. and Auburn Way, not far from where you're going, that sells Trick 106 unleaded. Bought it a couple weeks ago @ about $7.25/gal., I think. Also sell Trick 114 leaded, I believe.

My last instructor at a PCA DE said he buys 94 from a place off auburn way SOUTH of HWY 18. I thought it was a CENEX gas station. I hve bought the trick before and it worked great!!

As an airplane guy, I just mix 100LL from the airport with premium unleaded pump gas for my non-catted track car
