i'm not one to "reinvent the wheel" so perhaps, since its been six years, an olympic pennisula tour makes sense? peter nize posted one in 2009, and perhaps there are route notes still available? the hotels and food will be the easy part - here is the old thread:

i received a pm that may make an olympic pennisula tour a no go - issues of high traffic, not so many roads, but great scenery - one suggestion is a tour between the OR coast, evergreen aviation museum and bend - another suggestion for a leavenworth home base and drives from there - any thoughts?!

A few years ago, I toured around he Grand Coulee Dam and north. The roads around there and even through Trail were awesome...
