Back date

I’m finishing prepping the light boxes for my back date project. They look pretty good. I have been wondering how is best to bond them. Do I use glass and resin to the fender and boxes or bond with some kind of adhesive and then glass fill it in? I’d really hate to see some cracks in a couple years.
The light boxes are fiberglass otherwise I’d weld them.
