Sc Black Trim Color

I am repainting the trim on my 80 911 sc. any recommendations for a specific black color or type?

Also, is the targa bar supposed to be the same color as the aluminum trim around the windows and doors?

Thanks,

Mark

SEM Trim Black is a good option for anything on the car that has a satin black finish, like the Targa bar or wheel centers. Fine for the bar if you don’t care about replicating the original pebbly finish. Targa bar is painted and trim is anodized, so finish won’t be the same.

Hi Mark,

How'd the trim re-spray turn out? I've got a '78 SC coupe with the same issues. Front and rear window moldings look polished, both side rear window frames and driver window frames same. The only window frame that looks normal (black) is the passenger. Not sure if it just didn't fade, or was re-anodized/re-painted. I'd like to paint all the faded trim to match the passenger window frame, but I'd like to do it without having to remove the windows. Not sure if I'm going to tackle the job, or have it done professionally.
