Grrrrr!!
After waiting over a month and paying over $650 for shipping, my fenders have finally arrived. One came from Parts Heaven fairly quickly, while the other came from DC auto in N.C.
Now I did not expect either part to be perfect being that they are used parts but what I did not expect that I would have to take a cutoff wheel to one of them to make it fit. Parts Heaven fender decent gaps but fender attachment points along hood are kind of bad. Small hole inside h/l bucket ![]() DC fender, nicely primered but repaired along the rear and now will not sit flush. ![]() Oh well, I'm not about to send it back on my dime so I guess the cutoff wheel and the mig are gonna get fired up. First I'm going to try cutting the inner support in one or two places. If I can't get that to work then I'll butcher my SC fender to replace the offending section. The real ***** about that is I paid over a grand for this one fender. Will post pics of progress/solution asap Tom
