Here are some pictures of Glasurit 6801 Slate Grey. It is on my 1969 E restoration. That is my excellent painter Conrad. I love the color but have to admit I lost a lot of steam with the project because of some construction projects going on at my house. FWIW, Conrad almost never uses Glasurit and he doesn't like it because it is hard to work with. It takes a long time to dry he said. But the result is great. This is a single stage paint and it won't get the wetsand until the car is back together. Good luck!

I thought beige grey 622 was the only early stock 911 color? And slate was from the 356 days. And then they came out with a slate metallic for the G bodies. I dunno maybe I’m wrong.

Schiefer Grau AKA slate Gray code 6401 is a color used for 1964 and 65.
other codes under this name are 615 used 1963 to 2022 and 6801 used 1976 to 69.
tint for tint they are all the same colors in the standard mixed formula.
glasurit offers them in single stage 22 line , 55 line base clear and 90 line base clear waterborne.
I should add the year/s I stated could be a little off as it's from my memory ? if I remember correctly we had a early 66 911 in our shop with the code of 6401 but for some reason I can't remember why it had that code? I don't think it was a 999 color.
