A must try!
O own a 1984 944, and this applies to all Porsches with rubber oin the outside. I saw a post on here a few months ago on how to get the rear wing too look better. Someone said to wipe some power steering fluid on the rubber peices. IT WORKED GREAT! My rear wing was very dull looking, almost grey? looking. I went outside and put some powre steering fluid on a rag and wiped down the bumper pads, the black outlining on the mirros, the metal around the windsheild, the metal aroung the hatch glass, and the rear wing. It gave it a glossy look and gave the rubber a lot of "pop", very black now, look real good. And, if you waxed your car, and gotsome wax on the rubber it is a pain in the ... to get off, the power steering fluid takes it right off. I highly recomend that al of you try it out, 2 thumbs up, 5 stars 10 out of 10, 110%.

I think that I saw it on this forum, but i read it a few months ago. Dont know if its good for the rubber, I did it on mine a couple weeks ago and it hasent deteriaded yet. The guy who said to do this said something like it was an old detailers trick. It only looked good for 3-4 days.

The preffered way to feed the rubber is creamy peanut butter . It works well with the oils in the peanut.

I use 3M Marine Vinyl Treatment on everything exterior that is rubber or vinyl. It does a great job on my Targa top.
