85 paint

My 85 Carrera has a couple of small dents that I'd like to have repaired. I took it to one of those "painless dent removal" places and they expressed some concern about the 25 year old (original) paint possibly cracking when the body gets "messaged" back into it's original shape. I'm not sure if I want to get the body repaired if it means dealing with cracked paint. So are their concerns justified with 25 year old Porsche paint? Thanks

the paint poesche used then just as now does not get more brittle with age . sounds like one of the 101 excuses that the dent-wizard co gives . i stopped using the big CO's like that and went to an independent guy . but not knowing the shape of your cars finish i can not tell you if it can be picked or not !
