911 on a rotisserie
Anyone that might tell me where the Center of Gravity is on a 911 bare chassis.
I am in the process of building a simple rotisserie for my 1972 911 coupe and some dimension say off the bottom pan of the car to the rotation axis of the rotisserie would save me having to build in a lot of adjustment range. A picture of a 911 on a rotisserie would even get me close enough. |

I used a couple cheap engine stands and and some scrap steel from the recycling bin
![]() Unfortunately I didn't make mine quite high enough so I can only go like 130 degrees before the top edge of the roof makes contact with the joiner. I can probably go 180 if I remove the joiner. I used a cheap winch on each end to hold positions/help turn the car.
