930 front valence
Looking for a good source of a fiberglass or PU valence. By way of background, I recently tried a fiberglass valence and determined after many hours that there was no way it would fit -- too thick to bend and conform to the curvature of the bumper, rolled at the top so it didn't fit to the underside of the bumper, and no way that the OEM fog lights would fit in the openings, even with drastic trimming of the openings. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have experience with a successful valence installation. Thanks, John

Hi John,
Is this what you're looking for? If so it's from GT Racing. I did have minor work to do but that's normal. ![]()

Thanks John. It did come out pretty good. If you decide to go with one and need some pointers or help I do have other pictures. I also have a picture of the brackets I made for the fog lights.

Thank you. That would be very helpful. I got burned so badly on the first go around that I am a bit reluctant to make the move. I 'll be calling GT Racing.

Boy I understand John. I had heard horror stories. So I also called them up. Their response to my question of quality... "I sell to guys I race against". Which was good enough for me. I believe their son is now running the business.
If you purchase and are ready shoot me an email if needed and hopefully I cam help. Mark

Mark-
I have this valence painted and ready for installation. I have brake ducts for it, but I might go with reinstallation of the fog lights. Would you mind posting pics of your fog light brackets for my (and others) reference? Thanks!

Sure will Vic. The notches are because I didn't plan very well. I had to notch the tops to clear the bolts I used to fasten the valence to the bumper. Plan better than I and you won't need them!!

great! looks simple enough that I an do it! I already have predrilled the valence and splitter, so I'll have to hope I too don't have a bolt right in the way of the bracket. Otherwise, I'll have notches too
![]() Thanks again.

Yes, if I can make them anyone can!!
What did you make the splitter from? I changed mine from fiberglass/kevlar to aluminum. The FG/K was way wavy. The aluminum looks great. Post a few pictures when your done.

I bought my valence at Hershey this spring. It was attached to a 930 bumper, so I knew it was a good fit. I just had to repaint it from black to red. It also came with an aluminum splitter. I hope to get this installed along with a front-mounted oil cooler by the next Hershey show! But I seem to keep accumulating parts for projects and I never have the time to install them. I'm sure I'm not the only one on this forum with that problem
