Washing Microfiber Towels and Foam Pads

According to on-line recommendations, microfiber towels should not be washed in anything containing fabric softener or bleach. They should also not be dried in a drier using a hot cycle.

I do have some specialty soap (aka overpriced IMO) on order from a detailing supply, but in the meantime, I decided to use Zero by Woolite.

It got all of the color out of my blue Cobra microfiber cloths and the blue Lake Country CCS polishing pad that I used. Both had a tinge of Speed Yellow initially. After hand washing, I can't tell that they've ever been used and the washed microfiber towels feel exactly like the one that I haven't used yet.
