when people look at the cost of what the QT or GAL of color is they think of only the cost of the color and not the total cost of the hole job from primer to top coat . when in fact the total cost of the hole job cost about or some times less than other paint CO's products .
there are so many other factors that come into play , like coverage , sandability (how much sand paper you will use ) , cross over products . like reducers , now there are other factors that you want to think about whan it comes to picking a product line for your car . because you want to use all the products from the paint line you pick you will need to look at other cost of there products as well . like there primers ,sealers and clears / top coats . then what are you looking to do with the car ? is it a car you want to use ever day ? a good clean weekend car ? a total show car ? you also know that Glasurit is not the paint co it's the product line in under the BASF paint CO. and just one of many paint lines . in my shop we have all the BASF's paint lines and use deferent paint lines on deferent cars depending on just what the customer is going to use there car for and just what they want to spend on there cars finish . so do i think that glasurit is worth the money HELL YES ! do i think that the RM line is worth it too HELL YES ! do i think the limco line is worth it again HELL YES ! if i did not i would not have every BASF paint line in my shop ! |
