Porsche Crest Fog light switch

Help: Anyone out there know the correct dash placement for the factory driving/fog light switch for a C coupe?

Dad bought my '65 C coupe new in '65 but there were no fog/driving lights, but I do have some extra switches... . I believe the correct spot is in the dash in the middle, but I'm not sure. Best answer would probably come from 356talk...

thanks.....I have a switch which is correct. The B cars have a switch on either side of the clock where the C does not. I'm thinking it could go there. The other possibility is on the left side next to the ignition.

It goes to the right of the gauges on a C. I'll try to find a photo for you.

I think this is correct--on a C cab (which, at $99+k, is all the money for an admittedly gorgeous car).

That's from a C cab that just ended on Ebay.

It's not my car, I don't know if it's correct, but I'm pretty sure it is.

I believe the switch in the bali blue car is too far away from the clock. Don't drill it yet. I believe the fog light switch should be equal distance from clock as switch on the left of the clock and on the same plane.

Done

Rusty: Thanks, we noticed it was not symmetrical. We reversed the placement for the headlight switch for the other side. It looks great. When time allows, I'll post a pic of it in place......and the driving lights themselves. BTW, we used the brackets that mount to the front bumper supports (NLA). We did have to machine new slots and cut them for correct placement. The brackets do come with plenty so you can do this.
