356 transmission rebuilder?
Can anyone recommend a 356 transmission rebuilder in the northeastern US? I have a '61 B that needs a ring & pinion set-up among other things.

Stan Richardson at Gbox Performance in Boulder. He's been doing it for 30+ years and used to be the builder at Powerhaus II for the better part of a decade. He does excellent work and has quick turn around.

I can tell you who not to use or listen to and that is Dave Duerr of North River,NY also known as 356 Maven. He is a crook and a thief and has completly gone off the deep end.

I have had 2 done by Vic Skirmants. He is experienced, quick turn around and an expert. It is worth shipping the transmission to Michigan and get it done right. Good luck, Jim
