Identity of seats
I'm ignorant about 356s. I was advised that these are 60/61 T5 seats. But that was on a 911 forum. And although everything you see on the Internet is true, I would appreciate input from the 356 community on these.
My friend bought them with a '65 911 and someone had written "65 Porche"[sic] on the hinge. ![]()

Thank you for the super prompt response. Is there a way to distinguish which they are?

How do you know?
I have the same question since my '67 came with what I was told are late B seats. |

Seat back hinge article
There is a good picture article on the 356 Registry that identifies seat back hinges which should help. You can find it here:

Thank you for the tip! These are T5 seats according to the hinge chart, because the release knob is perpendicular to the hinge travel. Good to know!

911 seats have the sliders further apart and will not work in a 356 (and vice versa) without some heavy modifications.
T2/T5 seats are different - slider release is A, seat back is AT2, T5, T6, C. Some other small differences but the slider release in the first pic is a dead givaway. Pretty sought after seats too I may add. |

Seats what year?
The seat rails are for a 356 A car. The B has different shaped rails. Can see it from the latch that releases the seat. Not from a 65. Has to be 1959 or older.
