FS Early 65 912 Engine Serial #830877 complete w/extras
Early 65 912 engine serial #830877, been sitting in storage for 25+ yrs. Serial number looks to be in the 1st 100 or so 912s produced and VIN # 350407 plus of minus 10 should be really close (per info on 912vin.com) and lines up to a Germany/Sweden car but it has the US style heater boxes. Shortblock is intact as shown, everything looks to be there except the canister part of the air filters. Solex 40 PII-4s are proper for that year with solid shafts and the cylinders shown in the pictures are biral (aluminum finned) but I have a 2nd set of cast iron cylinders that come with the motor. Good alternative to buying a basket case running 912 motor that will have to be torn down and gone through completely. All the case numbers (case pairing, engine build number, and serial number) are consistent. The generator looks to have been restamped in the last pic.
