Concours People can be a bit nuts, the real deal means all the world for someone with a car that came from that era. Old Black Cali plates sell for big $$$, and Vasek Polak was the Cali dealer BITD, finding a real frame is not an easy find, that is why they command a premium price.

They have sold for very big money, but there are repops, that appear to be from the original moulds, they were being sold as NOS on ebay. This has but a damper on the value of the OEM ones. Much like the price drop of Cibe' hood lights, and the crash of light covers. $1200-1700 a pair, the covers $1000++, Perfect repros for $595, $75.00.

I have an original I bought about 10 years ago and had replated. I think it says Redondo and the city is on the top.


I was wrong it says "Porsche/Audi" on top. No city. Is this more or less common (valuble)?
