Help Identifying Early Owners Manual Cover
I've got some forty years of Porsche parts and literature i'm going through. Can't recall exactly where I obtained this factory owners manual cover (pictured) but it is embossed with "PORSCHE" into the vinyl instead of printed in gold like the later examples. Looks to be in remarkable condition (no tears or separation) in spite of possibly being from the sixties (early seventies?). Any help with what years this item might be from would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any input from the very knowledgeable Pelican community.

IIRC '57 - '58. difficult to come by in nice condition. so much so that they're been reproduced.

Thanks for your input. 1957-58 may be the correct time period as I think this cover may have come from the same gentleman that provided me with an excellent "Spare Parts Catalog III" that is dated May 1957 (Type 356A). Both items are in remarkable original condition especially considering that they are nearly sixty years old. |
