I have a broken plug (the white one pictured) which I assume is from my Motronic system. The car runs fine but the plug is not too secure. Found it when I replaced my fuel filter this weekend. I’ve attempted to locate the part number but seem only to find the two black ones below it, which are identified as three prong plugs.
Anyone have an idea of the part number of the white plug (both male and female) and/or experience replacing it? Last edited by reefdiver; 07-13-2018 at 10:56 AM.. |

The piece you are holding in your hand is attached to the car wiring harness, and appears to be fine with the exception that it has the broken piece from the other side still in it.
The broken part is attached to the cylinder head temp (CHT) sensor. You can replace the sensor and it will have a new connector on it (this is the route most people take), but someone may have a source for just the connector as well. |

Thanks 76FJ55.
Found a helpful thread for replacing the CHT sensor. Most helpful. |

Those are AMP style connectors. Drop timmy2 a line. He knows where to get them.

No worries. Oh yes Eagle Day is great I've gotten the crimp style connectors from there. Cycle terminal is also good. Timmy pointed me there too.

Update: Replaced CHT sensor/cable and the two other sensors/cables and the DME relay. Unlike others, I had to remove the shock to get to them out. With the help of the forum it was an enjoyable job. Also replaced the female ends of all three cables which I sourced from Eagle Day. The car is back to running great.
