Garage assistant hack - surprise IKEA find

This was a surprise gift to me from my better half for recent birthday. Goes by the product name of RASKOG (which I search for before this post and found zero results...) at the well known assemble-it-yourself furniture store. Took about 10 min to put together, with zero signs/symptoms of assembly frustration. Stable and pretty useful for helping to keep tools from getting lost in the black hole of garage. Not Hazet level quality but for 30 bucks probably can’t go wrong...

Nice! The Pelican sticker makes it look the business.

The slope is not slippery; in fact it is entirely frictionless.

I bought one on sale from Ikea a couple years ago for $20.

Until Dad steals it for garage stuff...

I've got one as well. It works well for keeping the tools and parts I'm using handy. I still plan to cut some rubber floor mats to fit in the bottom of the trays.

Keep an eye out at Costco as well. I picked up an almost identical one there, except it has four trays instead of three. Also about $20.

I've got one of those too - I really like it.

I think I saw it first on Jack Olsen's garage thread (or maybe the Jalopnik video). Here's one link where it was mentioned:

I was thinking the same -and may do the top shelf - one thing....when I was on my back half under the car, trying to grab a tool from the lower shelves it was helpful to see through and somewhat narrow the search. We’ll see after more use.

First off, when did I have so much spare time on my hands? I welded little dividers into mine and painted the bottoms of each shelf with Plasti-dip.

Clearly, a staged photo. What would I be using a cordless drill for?

All that said, it's a handy little tool/part carrier when you're working.

I have been using something similar, this one is called DRAGGAN. I bought some plastic food storage trays and hot glued them to the cart. Have to figure out where to put the Pelican sticker...
